Cold this morning starting out. I wore my long johns, down coat, hat and gloves out of camp. Had a steady climb for the first hour or so, which helped warm me up.
Highlight of the day was crossing over The Knife’s Edge. This is a narrow ridge that the PCT follows for a ways, giving 360 degree views. Our time on it was unfortunately obscured by clouds. At least we had views above that were wonderful before we began that section of trail.
Walked with JJ and Wolfpack for much of the day and saw Moonshine during breaks. Caught up to Qball, Analog, and Derek when we made it into White Pass for resupply. White Pass doesn’t have much. A motel and gas station. The gas station that usually serves some food, but not today. Picked up some doritos and mac/cheese for my dinner and an ice tea.
We are camped just past the road crossing near a lake. It is pretty windy and cool tonight….will probably get into the 30s like last night.
