Day started out tough. I had an upset stomach overnight and cramps most
of the day. Hiking was not what I wanted to do, but we had 18 miles
into Warner Springs, and I wanted to make it there.
It was cold morning to start, which was fine…pretty comfortable
hiking.
Saw a snake and a horny toad…
Walked through some beautiful meadows in the afternoon.
The big highlight of the day was the trail magic. At one road crossing
there were 3 RVs. They had beer, soda, bagels, and fruit. Then 3 miles
later there were more trail angels, with treats.
On arrival in Warner Springs, the community center had burgers and
snacks as well. Tomorrow they will have more food and we will probably
be back.
