Mississippi River Thru-Canoe 2017 Photos

The MSR Thru-Canoe was our first time on a long distance canoe trip.  Keeping a camera handy while paddling is tougher than hiking.  Water is involved every day, all day (not just rain, but the fact that we are in a small craft on the river)….and the possibility of the camera finding its way to the bottom of Big Muddy (One of the nicknames for the MR) is always looming.  We were able to get some shots, but not a lot of shots while we were in big waves or other somewhat treacherous circumstances.  Most of the river shots are from the more peaceful moments on the river.

Nearly all photos were taking with an iPhone 6.

Our journal from the trip is here -> MSR Thru-Canoe 2017

OUR FAVORITE MISSISSIPPI RIVER TRIP PHOTOS

Most of these photos can be seen throughout the various pages of our journal.  Since we enjoy taking a quick look at our photos now and then, we’ve put them up here so others can enjoy in a quick glance.
