Woke at 5 to get an early start knowing that we had over 18 miles and wanted to get into the hostel early enough to relax. It was nice walking in the dark with stars and city lights below us. There was a layer of clouds below us that the lights reflected off of from below.
We met some day hikers who gave us apples, pears and chocolate. It was a nice extra treat as we had finished off our food already.
Got to the Woods Hole Hostel around 3:30. It is in a secluded location on a nice piece of property in the woods. We got a wonderful room with a two person shower. We saw hikers we hadn’t seen since the Shenandoah National Park as well as our buddy Mace who was staying there giving his knee some rest. It was a nice place to rest.
