Woke up to a wet tarp and sleeping bags as there was a lot of dew. Sleeping under the tarp was good, but maybe we need to set it higher.
Steep climbs at the beginning got our blood pumping on a cold morning. Awesome views of clouds below with peaks that looked like islands.
Great view from Bald Mountain of many mountain ranges. Had our second breakfast on top.
A trail angel left some sodas in the stream before the shelter as well as some cookies on the bear cable. Great surprise!
Got into camp before dark and got a fire going. The rest of the group got in after dark. Had a nice time chatting with everyone in the evening.
Sweat Pea let Beardos socks burn in the fire…so he will need to get another pair in Hot Springs.
Warm weather today, we were able to wear short sleeves most of day.
