No rain overnight, woke up to blue skies. After putting my gear together, I walked up to the ridge where the PCT is and waited for the guys to catch up to me (since I had gone a bit further to find a suitable hammocks spot). Up on the ridge, I had a great view of Shasta.
We kept a pretty good pace up through mile 20, where we stopped for lunch. The other guys needed to dry out there tents from the dew so we took a fairly long lunch as they laid the tents out.
Most of the afternoon was a decent down to the McLoud River, where there was a plethora of poison oak. In some spots, it felt like I was playing hopscotch to avoid it. Hopefully there will be less as we had into the Trinity Alps.
Doing another 30 miles tomorrow as we had into town for resupply. Hopefully pickup some hotdogs and grill those for dinner tomorrow night.
