Reasonably early start this am.. Beautiful night last evening with clear skies and lots of stars. We woke up in the middle of the night when we heard something metallic in the woods. Today we found out that some mice were in one of the guys’ cook pot and he tossed it out of the shelter.
Nice sunrise over the mountains. We had a mix of terrain over the standard mountain ridges that we are used to going up down and walking across, but we also walked through some farm valleys which were quite beautiful with the morning light today.
Got into town in the early afternoon and got lunch at a local diner, picked up our maildrop and got a motel room. Ordered a pizza in the evening, and it was probably the worst we have had on the trail. Pizza Plus was not too happening for us 🙁
